Diagnosis Procedure

- CONNECTOR CHECK
Check the audio unit and tweeter connectors for the following:
- Proper connection
- Damage
- Disconnected or loose terminals
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 2
NO
Repair the terminal and connector.
- HARNESS CHECK
- Disconnect audio unit connector M50 and suspect tweeter connector.
- Check continuity between audio unit harness connector M50 and suspect tweeter harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 3
NO
Repair harness or connector.
- TWEETER SIGNAL CHECK
- Connect audio unit connector M50 and tweeter connectors.
- Turn ignition switch to ACC.
- Push audio unit POWER switch.
- Check the signal between audio unit harness connector M50 with CONSULT or oscilloscope.
