Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK STEERING WHEEL AUDIO CONTROL SWITCHES RESISTANCE

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect combination switch connector M102.
Check resistance between the terminals of combination switch connector M102.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 2.

Replace steering wheel audio control switches. Refer to Removal and Installation .

CHECK COMBINATION SWITCH

Disconnect combination switch connector M30.
Check continuity between combination switch connectors M102 and M30.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

Replace spiral cable. Refer to Removal and Installation .

CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN COMBINATION SWITCH AND AUDIO UNIT

Disconnect audio unit connector M50.

Check continuity between combination switch connector M30 and audio unit connector M50.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace audio unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

Repair or replace harness or connectors.
