Diagnosis Procedure

- CONNECTOR CHECK
Check the audio unit and rear speaker connectors for the following:
- Proper connection
- Damage
- Disconnected or looses terminals
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 2.
NO
Repair the terminal and connector.
- HARNESS CHECK
- Disconnect audio unit and suspect rear speaker connector.
- Check continuity between audio unit connector M50 and suspect rear speaker connector.

- Check continuity between audio unit connector M50 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 3.
NO
- Check connector housings for disconnected or loose terminals.
- Repair harness or connector.
- REAR SPEAKER SIGNAL CHECK
- Connect audio unit and suspect rear speaker connectors.
- Turn ignition switch to ACC.
- Push "POWER" switch.
- Check the signal between audio unit connector M50 terminals with CONSULT or oscilloscope.
