Diagnosis Procedure

DETERMINE MALFUNCTION TYPE
With CONSULT
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 30 seconds.
3. Turn ignition switch ON and wait at least 30 seconds or more.
4. Select "Self Diagnostic Result" mode of "MULTI AV" using CONSULT.
5. Check DTC.
Is DTC B132A detected?

YES

GO TO 2.

YES

GO TO 3.

NO

Refer to Intermittent Incident .

CHECK USB CIRCUITS FOR OPEN

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect audio unit connector M94 and front auxiliary input jacks connector M72.

Check continuity between audio unit connector M94 and front auxiliary input jacks connector M72.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace audio unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

Repair or replace harness or connectors.

PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE AGAIN
With CONSULT
1. Turn ignition switch ON.
2. Erase DTC.
3. Perform DTC confirmation procedure again. Refer to DTC Confirmation Procedure .
Is DTC U132A detected again?

YES

Replace audio unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

NO

Inspection End.
