Changing Differential Gear Oil: Filling

  1. Remove the filler plug from the rear final drive assembly.
  2. Fill the rear final drive assembly with new differential gear oil until the oil level (A) reaches the filler plug hole as shown.

    Differential gear oil grade and capacity

    : Refer to Fluids and Lubricants .
  3. Install the filler plug and tighten to specification.

    Filler plug torque

    : Refer to Disassembly and Assembly .
