- CHECK FRONT AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (DRIVER SIDE) POWER SUPPLY
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between front air mix door motor (driver side) harness connector M64 terminal 1 and ground.
1 - Ground
: Battery Voltage
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 2.
NO
Repair the harnesses or connectors.
- CHECK SIGNAL FOR FRONT AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (DRIVER SIDE)
Check the output waveform (LAN signal) between front air mix door motor (driver side) harness connector M64 terminal 3 and ground using an oscilloscope.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 3.
NO
Repair the harnesses or connectors.
- CHECK FRONT AIR MIX DOOR MOTOR (DRIVER SIDE) GROUND CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect front air mix door motor (driver side) connector.
- Check continuity between front air mix door (driver side) motor harness connector M64 terminal 2 and ground.
2 - Ground
: Continuity should exist.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace front air mix door motor (driver side). Refer to Removal and Installation - Front Air Mix Door Motor (Driver) .
NO
Repair harness or connector.
