DTC Diagnosis Procedure

- The rear window defogger is operated by turning the rear window defogger switch ON.
- Turns the indicator lamp in the rear window defogger switch ON when operating the rear window defogger.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect front air control.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between front air control connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 2.
NO
Replace front air control. Refer to Removal and Installation - Front Air Control (manual A/C) or Removal and Installation - Front Air Control (automatic A/C).
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect BCM.
- Check continuity between BCM connector M18 terminal 10 and front air control connector.

- Check continuity between BCM connector M18 terminal 10 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Replace BCM. Refer to Removal and Installation .
NO
Repair or replace harness.
