DTC Diagnosis Procedure
Heats the heating element with the power supply from the rear window defogger relay to defog the rear windows, or to prevent the rear windows from fogging up.
- CHECK POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between rear window defogger connectors D426 and D626 terminal 1 and ground.

- CHECK GROUND CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect rear window defogger.
- Check continuity between rear window defogger connectors D427 and D627 terminal 2 and ground.

GO TO 4
NO
Repair or replace harness.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY
- Disconnect IPDM E/R.
- Check continuity between rear window defogger connectors D426 and D626 terminal 1 and IPDM E/R connector E124 terminal 60.

- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
Check intermittent incident.
Refer to Intermittent Incident .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Check the following.
- Battery power supply circuit.
- IPDM E/R.
NO
Repair or replace the malfunctioning parts.
