Removal and Installation - Key Cylinder: Removal

- Disconnect the battery cables and wait at least three minutes. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Remove cluster lid A. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Remove upper and lower steering column covers. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- If equipped, remove the NATS antenna amp. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Turn the key to the "ACC" position.
- Using suitable tool, depress the key cylinder release button (A).
- While holding the steering key cylinder release button depressed, remove the key cylinder (1) from the steering lock unit.
