Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove the front combination lamp. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  2. Remove cowl top side seal. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove rod antenna (1) from front fender (RH only).

  4. Remove antenna base bolt (A) when servicing the front fender (RH only).
  5. Lift the front of the antenna base (2) upward, while pushing down on the rear end of the base to remove antenna base from the rubber seal (1) when servicing the front fender (RH only).

  6. Remove rubber seal (1) by pulling up and out of the front fender (RH only).

  7. Remove the front fender protector. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  8. Remove the front fender bolts and the front fender.
    CAUTION:
    • Use protective tape or shop cloths to protect surrounding components from damage during removal and installation of front fender.
    • Use care when removing the front fender. The front fender baffle foam adheres the front fender to the body side outer. Carefully release the baffle foam or damage to the front fender may occur.
