Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Drain engine coolant from radiator. Refer to Changing Engine Coolant .
  2. Remove front under cover using power tool. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  3. Disconnect water hoses from oil cooler.
    CAUTION: Perform this step when engine is cold.
  4. Remove oil filter. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  5. Remove connector bolt, and remove oil cooler and O-ring.
    CAUTION: Do not reuse O-ring.
