DTC Diagnosis Procedure

Transmits door lock/unlock operation to BCM.

1. CHECK DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL 

   Check main power window and door lock/unlock switch (CDL LOCK SW, CDL UNLOCK SW) in DATA MONITOR mode in CONSULT.

   • When main power window and door lock/unlock switch is turned to LOCK:

     CDL LOCK SW

     : ON

   • When main power window and door lock/unlock switch is turned to UNLOCK:

     CDL UNLOCK SW

     : ON

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES

   Door lock and unlock switch circuit is OK.

   NO

   GO TO 2.

2. CHECK DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK SWITCH GROUND HARNESS 
   1. Disconnect main power window and door lock/unlock switch.
   2. Check continuity between main power window and door lock/unlock switch connector D7 terminal 10 and ground.

      10 - Ground

      : Continuity should exist.

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES

   GO TO 3.

   NO

   Repair or replace harness.

3. CHECK POWER WINDOW SERIAL LINK CIRCUIT 
   1. Disconnect BCM.
   2. Check continuity between BCM connector M19 terminal 45 and main power window and door lock/unlock switch connector D7 terminal 5.

      45 - 5

      : Continuity should exist.

   3. Check continuity between BCM connector M19 terminal 46 and main power window and door lock/unlock switch connector D7 terminal 6.

      46 - 6

      : Continuity should exist.

   4. Check continuity between BCM connector M19 terminals 45 and 46 to ground.

      45 - Ground	: Continuity should not exist.
      46 - Ground	: Continuity should not exist.

   Is the inspection result normal?

   YES

   Replace main power window and door lock/unlock switch. Refer to Removal and Installation .

   NO

   Repair or replace harness.
