DTC Confirmation Procedure

CAUTION:
- Always drive vehicle at a safe speed.
- Be careful not to rev engine into the red zone on the tachometer.
- PRECONDITIONING
If "DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE" is previously conducted, always turn ignition switch OFF and wait at least 10 seconds before performing the next test.
GO TO 2.
- CHECK DTC DETECTION
With CONSULT
- Start the engine.
- Select "VHCL/S SE-A/T" in "Data Monitor" in "TRANSMISSION".
- Drive vehicle and maintain the following conditions for 60 seconds or more.
VHCL/S SE-A/T
: 40 km/h (25 MPH) or more
- Perform "Self Diagnostic Results" in "TRANSMISSION".
Is "P1721" detected?
YES
Go to Diagnosis Procedure .
NO
To check malfunction symptom before repair: Refer to Intermittent Incident .
NO
Confirmation after repair: INSPECTION END
