DTC Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK STARTER RELAY SIGNAL
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Check voltage between IPDM E/R connector terminal and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
- Check starter relay circuit.
Refer to Wiring Diagram - With VK56VD .
NO
GO TO 2.
- CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN IPDM E/R AND A/T ASSEMBLY (PART 1)
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect A/T assembly connector and IPDM E/R connector.
- Check the continuity between A/T assembly harness connector terminal and IPDM E/R harness connector terminal.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 3.
NO
Repair or replace damaged parts.
- CHECK HARNESS BETWEEN IPDM E/R AND A/T ASSEMBLY (PART 2)
Check short circuit in harness between IPDM E/R harness connector terminal 48 and A/T assembly harness connector terminal 9.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 4.
NO
Repair or replace damaged parts.
- REPLACE CONTROL VALVE & TCM
Replace control valve & TCM. Refer to Exploded View .
