Removal and Installation - VQ40DE: Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

Install the bolts hand tight, then tighten to specification in the order shown.

Power steering pump to bracket bolt (1)	: 64.7 N.m (6.6 kg-m, 48 ft-lb)
Power steering pump to block bolt (2)	: 28 N.m (2.9 kg-m, 21 ft-lb)

After installation, bleed air. Refer to Refilling and Air Bleeding Hydraulic System .

CAUTION: Do not reuse copper sealing washers.

NOTE: Belt tension is automatic and requires no adjustment.
