Disassembly and Assembly: Disassembly

  1. Remove the caliper assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation of Brake Caliper Assembly and Rotor .
  2. Remove the brake pads.
  3. Remove the guide pin caps.
  4. Remove the guide pins, using suitable tool.
  5. Remove guide pin boots.
