Removal and Installation: Removal

- Remove the instrument lower panel LH. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Disconnect the harness connectors from the stop lamp switch and brake pedal position switch (if equipped).
- Rotate the stop lamp switch and the brake pedal position switch (if equipped) counterclockwise to remove.
- Remove the snap pin, and then remove the clevis pin from the clevis of brake booster.
- Remove the brake pedal assembly.CAUTION: Secure the hydraulic booster assembly so it will not drop into engine compartment or contact other parts.
- Perform inspection after removal. Refer to Inspection and Adjustment .
