Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Partially drain the engine cooling system. Refer to Changing Engine Coolant .
  2. Disconnect the harness connector from the water valve assembly.
  3. Disconnect the water valve heater hose at heater core, and the water valve heater hose at heater pipe.
  4. Remove nut, and water valve assembly.
    CAUTION: Do not disassemble the water valve. Replace the water valve and hoses as an assembly.
