Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Discharge the refrigerant. Refer to HFC-134a (R-134a) Service Procedure .
  2. Disconnect the low pressure flexible hose from the low pressure pipe.
  3. Disconnect the low-pressure flexible hose from the compressor.
    NOTE: Cap the low-pressure flexible hose and port on the compressor to prevent contamination.
  4. Remove the low-pressure flexible hose.
