Diagnosis Procedure
Detects trunk open/close condition.
- CHECK TRUNK LAMP SWITCH INPUT SIGNAL
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Check voltage between BCM connector and ground.

GO TO 6 .
NO
GO TO 2 .
- CHECK TRUNK LAMP SWITCH CIRCUIT
- Disconnect BCM and trunk lamp switch and trunk release solenoid connectors.
- Check continuity between BCM connector and trunk lamp switch and trunk release solenoid assembly connector.

NO
Repair or replace harness between BCM and trunk lamp switch and trunk release solenoid assembly.
- CHECK TRUNK LAMP SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between trunk lamp switch and trunk release solenoid assembly connector and ground.

NO
Repair or replace trunk lamp switch and trunk release solenoid assembly ground circuit.
- CHECK BCM OUTPUT SIGNAL
- Insure trunk remains closed during this step.
- Connect BCM connector.
- Check voltage between BCM connector and ground.

- CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
