Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)

Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
Disconnect the following harness connectors.
- ECM
- Combination meter

Check the continuity between the data link connector and the combination meter harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Check CAN system type decision again.

YES

Error was detected in the main line between the data link connector and the combination meter.

Repair the main line between the data link connector and the combination meter.
