Removal and Installation: Removal

CAUTION: Perform ADDITIONAL SERVICE WHEN REPLACING ECM. Refer to Description .

Disconnect the battery. Refer to Battery Disconnect .
Remove the front fender protector (RH). Refer to Removal and Installation .
Position the relay box and IDPM/ER aside.
Disconnect the harness connectors from ECM.

Remove nuts (A) and ECM (2) from ECM bracket (1).

Nut (A)

: 5.5 N.m (0.57 kg-m, 49 ft-lb)

Remove bolts and ECM bracket (1) from vehicle (if necessary).
