DTC Diagnosis Procedure

CHECK PSP SENSOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

Disconnect power steering pressure (PSP) sensor harness connector.
Turn ignition switch ON.

Check the voltage between PSP sensor harness connector and ground.

+		-	Voltage (Approx.)
PSP sensor
Connector	Terminal
F46	1	Ground	5 V

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

GO TO 2.

CHECK PSP SENSOR POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT

Turn ignition switch OFF
Disconnect ECM harness connector.

Check the continuity between PSP sensor harness connector and ECM harness connector.

+		-		Continuity
PSP sensor		ECM
Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal
F46	1	F54	18	Existed

Also check harness for short to ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Perform the trouble diagnosis for power supply circuit.

Repair or replace error-detected parts.

CHECK PSP SENSOR GROUND CIRCUIT

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect ECM harness connector.

Check the continuity between PSP sensor harness connector and ECM harness connector.

+		-		Continuity
PSP sensor		ECM
Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal
F46	3	F54	25	Existed

Also check harness for short to ground and short to power.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4.

Repair or replace error-detected parts.

CHECK PSP SENSOR INPUT SIGNAL CIRCUIT

Check the continuity between PSP sensor harness connector and ECM harness connector.

+		-		Continuity
PSP sensor		ECM
Connector	Terminal	Connector	Terminal
F46	2	F54	24	Existed

Also check harness for short to ground and short to power.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 5.

Repair or replace error-detected parts.

CHECK PSP SENSOR
Refer to Component Inspection .

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Check intermittent incident. Refer to Intermittent Incident .

NO

Replace PSP sensor. Refer to Component Parts Location .
