Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect both negative and positive battery terminals. Refer to Battery Disconnect .
    CAUTION: Disconnect negative battery terminal first.
  2. Remove battery clamp nuts and battery clamp.
  3. Remove the battery cover.
  4. Remove battery.
