Removal and Installation: Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
CAUTION:
- Do not use old nut after removal; replace with the new nut.
- Do not damage the harness connector while installing.
- Check crash zone sensor to make sure it is free of deformities, dents, cracks or rust. If it shows any visible signs of damage, replace it with new one.
- Do not disassemble crash zone sensor.
- After the work is completed, check that no system malfunction is detected by the air bag warning lamp.
- If a malfunction is detected by the air bag warning lamp after repair or replacement of the malfunctioning parts, perform the SRS final check. Refer to SRS Final Check .
