Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove instrument lower panel RH and glove box door. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  2. Remove the front pillar finisher (RH). Refer to Removal and Installation .
  3. Disconnect audio antenna cable (A) from antenna feeder (B).

  4. Remove cowl top side seal (RH). Refer to Removal and Installation .
  5. Remove rod antenna (1).

  6. Remove antenna base bolt (A).
  7. Lift the front of the antenna base (2) upward, while pushing down on the rear end of the base to remove antenna base from the rubber seal (1).

  8. Remove rubber seal (1) by pulling up and out of the front fender.

  9. Remove audio antenna cable clips from the inside and outside of the vehicle.
  10. Remove audio antenna cable grommet from dash panel.
  11. Remove the AV control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  12. Feed the audio antenna cable through the dash panel into the engine compartment, then remove entire audio antenna cable.
    CAUTION: Be careful not to damage the outside of the audio antenna cable while pulling cable through the dash panel.
