DTC Diagnosis Procedure

The AV control unit sends sound signals to the tweeters using the tweeter circuits.
- CONNECTOR CHECK
Check the AV control unit and tweeter connectors for the following:
- Proper connection
- Damage
- Disconnected or loose terminals
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 2
NO
Repair the terminal and connector.
- HARNESS CHECK
- Disconnect AV control unit connector M44 and suspect tweeter connector.
- Check continuity between AV control unit harness connector M44 and suspect tweeter harness connector.

- Check continuity between AV control unit harness connector M44 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 3
NO
Repair harness or connector.
- TWEETER SIGNAL CHECK
- Connect AV control unit connector M44 and tweeter connectors.
- Turn ignition switch to ACC.
- Push AV control unit POWER switch.
- Check the signal between AV control unit harness connector M44 with CONSULT or oscilloscope.
