Diagnosis Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2019 Infiniti QX60. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- CHECK CONNECTOR
- Turn the ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect the battery cable from the negative terminal.
- Check the following terminals and connectors for damage, bend and loose connection (connector side and harness side).
- Harness connector M40
- Harness connector B69
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 2.
NO
Repair the terminal and connector.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the following harness connectors.
- 3CH CAN gateway
- Harness connectors M40 and B69
- Check the continuity between the 3CH CAN gateway harness connector and the harness connector.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 3.
NO
Repair the main line between the 3CH CAN gateway and the harness connector M40.
- Disconnect the following harness connectors.
- CHECK HARNESS CONTINUITY (OPEN CIRCUIT)
- Disconnect the harness connectors B54 and B200.
- Check the continuity between the harness connectors.

Check CAN system type decision again.
YES
Error was detected in the main line between the 3CH CAN gateway and the driver seat control unit.
NO
Repair the main line between the harness connectors B69 and driver seat control unit.
