Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Park the vehicle on a level surface.
  2. Remove the driver air bag module. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the steering wheel. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  4. Remove the column cover. Refer to Exploded View .
  5. Remove the vehicle harness connector (C) and (D) from paddle shifter.

    : Side of paddle shifter (shift-down)

    (B)

    : Side of paddle shifter (shift-up)
  6. Remove the paddle shifter nuts and bolts (E) and nuts (F).
  7. Remove the paddle shifter from the steering column assembly.
