CHECK VOICE GUIDANCE SIGNAL INPUT

Turn ignition switch ON.

Check the signal between the terminals of display control unit connector M93.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 2.

GO TO 3.

CHECK VOICE GUIDANCE SIGNAL OUTPUT

Check the signal between the terminals of AV control unit connector M163.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace AV control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

GO TO 5.

CHECK VOICE GUIDANCE INPUT SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR OPEN

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect display control unit connector M93 and NAVI control unit connector M140.

Check the continuity between display control unit connector M93 and NAVI control unit connector M140.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4.

Repair or replace harness or connectors.

CHECK VOICE GUIDANCE INPUT SIGNAL FOR SHORT

Check the continuity between display control unit connector M93 and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace NAVI control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .

Repair or replace harness or connectors.

CHECK VOICE GUIDANCE OUTPUT SIGNAL CIRCUIT FOR OPEN

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect AV control unit connector M163 and display control unit connector M93.

Check the continuity between AV control unit connector M163 and display control unit connector M93.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 6.

Repair or replace harness or connectors.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

Replace display control unit. Refer to Removal and Installation .
