CHECK MICROPHONE SIGNAL CIRCUIT CONTINUITY

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect TCU connector M47 and microphone connector.

Check continuity between TCU connector M47 and microphone connector R109.

Check continuity between TCU connector M47 and ground.

Is inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 2.

Repair or replace harness or connectors.

CHECK HF/VR SWITCH CIRCUIT CONTINUITY

Disconnect display control unit connector M93.

Check continuity between display control unit connector M93 and microphone connector R109.

Check continuity between display control unit connector M93 and ground.

Is inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 3.

Repair or replace harness or connectors.

CHECK MICROPHONE VCC VOLTAGE

Connect TCU connector M47.
Turn ignition switch ON.

Check voltage between terminals of TCU connector M47.

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

GO TO 4.

Replace TCU. Refer to Removal and Installation .

CHECK MICROPHONE SIGNAL

Connect microphone connector.

Check signal between terminals of TCU connector M47.

YES

Replace TCU. Refer to Removal and Installation .
