Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK CIRCUIT BETWEEN TCM AND CVT UNIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect TCM connector and CVT unit connector.
- Check continuity between TCM harness connector terminal and ground.

GO TO STEP 2 .
NO
Repair or replace malfunctioning part.
- CHECK TERMINAL CODE ASSEMBLY
Check continuity between CVT unit connector terminal and ground

NO
Replace terminal cord assembly. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- CHECK CVT FLUID TEMPERATURE SENSOR
Check CVT fluid temperature sensor. Refer to Component Inspection .

YES
INSPECTION END
NO
Repair or replace malfunctioning parts.
