Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Partially remove front door welt.
  2. Release front pillar finisher metal clip and pawls using a suitable tool.

    SYMBOL : Clip

    SYMBOL : Pawl

  3. Cut and discard front pillar finisher tether clip (A).
    CAUTION: Do not reuse tether clip. Replace with new part after removal.
  4. Remove the remaining piece of tether clip (A) using a suitable tool.
  5. Disconnect the harness connector (if equipped) from front pillar finisher, then remove front pillar finisher.
