Removal and Installation: Removal

CAUTION:
- Before replacing NAVI control unit, perform "Read/Write Configuration" of NAVI control unit to save or print current vehicle specification. For details, refer to Description .
- Remove battery terminal and NAVI control unit after a lapse of 30 seconds or more after turning the ignition switch OFF.
NOTE:
After the ignition switch is turned OFF, the NAVI control unit continues operating for approximately 30 seconds. Therefore, data corruption may occur if battery voltage is cut off within 30 seconds.
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Remove cluster lid C. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Remove the screws, then pull out the AV control unit with brackets.
- Disconnect the harness connectors from the AV control unit and NAVI control unit and remove.
- Remove AV control unit bracket (RH).
- Remove screws (A).
- Remove NAVI control unit.
