Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  2. Remove engine room cover. Refer to Removal and Installation (VQ35DD).
  3. Remove air cleaner and air duct assembly. Refer to Exploded View (VQ35DE) .
  4. Remove the ground cable from the cylinder head.
  5. Using a suitable strap, reposition the radiator hose (upper).
  6. Disconnect the harness connectors from the cooling fan control module.
  7. Remove the cooling fan control module.
