Removal and Installation

Removal
- Disconnect the negative battery terminal. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Remove the front wheel and tire (RH) using power tool. Refer to Adjustment .
- Remove the front fender protector (RH). Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts and reposition the heat shield.
- Remove starter cover bolts and starter cover.
- Disconnect terminal "S" connector and terminal "B" nut.
- Remove the two starter bolts using power tool.
- Remove the starter.
Installation
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
- Tighten the front wheel and tire (RH) to specification. Refer to Adjustment .
CAUTION:
Tighten terminal "B" nut carefully.
