Removal and Installation: Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Intake Manifold Collector

If intake manifold collector stud bolts were removed from intake manifold, install them and tighten to the specified torque.

Intake manifold collector stud bolts

: 6.9 N.m (0.7 kg-m, 61 in-lb)

Tighten intake manifold collector bolts and nuts in numerical order as shown, below.

CAUTION: Do not reuse gasket.

Intake manifold collector bolts and nuts

: 11.0 N.m (1.1 kg-m, 8 ft-lb)

Tighten bolts in the order shown below, to install the intake manifold collector support.

Electric Throttle Control Actuator

Tighten bolts in numerical order as shown, below.

CAUTION: Do not reuse gasket.
Perform the "Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning" when harness connector of electric throttle control actuator is disconnected. Refer to Description .
Perform the "Idle Air Volume Learning" and "Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning" when electric throttle control actuator is replaced. Refer to Description .
