Brake Control System (DTC/Circuit Diagnosis)
- CONNECTOR INSPECTION
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) connector E125 and VDC OFF switch connector.
- Check connectors and terminals for deformation, disconnection, looseness or damage.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 2
NO
Repair or replace as necessary.
- CHECK VDC OFF SWITCH
Check VDC OFF switch. Refer to Component Inspection .
Is the inspection result normal?
YES
GO TO 3 .
NO
Replace VDC OFF switch. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- CHECK VDC OFF SWITCH SIGNAL
CONSULT.
- Connect ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) connector E125 and VDC OFF switch connector.
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- In "Data Monitor" mode select "OFF SW" and check VDC OFF switch signal.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES
Refer to Work Flow .
NO
GO TO 4 .
- CHECK VDC OFF SWITCH CIRCUIT
- Turn ignition switch OFF.
- Disconnect ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) connector E125 and VDC OFF switch connector.
- Check continuity between ABS actuator and electric unit (control unit) connector E125 terminal 39 and VDC OFF switch connector M117 terminal 1.

GO TO 5 .
NO
Repair or replace malfunctioning components.
- CHECK VDC OFF SWITCH GROUND CIRCUIT
Check continuity between VDC OFF switch connector M117 terminal 2 and ground.
