Removal and Installation: Installation

Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION: Do not reuse O-rings.

NOTE: Note the following:

Confirm that no foreign objects are on sealing surfaces of the oil cooler and oil pan.

Tighten the oil cooler bolts in the order shown to the specified torque.

7.0 N.m (0.7 kg-m, 62 in-lb)

For XD Models align paint marks on water hoses (1/3/5/6/9) with paint marks on oil cooler (7), A/T fluid warmer (4) and water pipes (2/8).

For Non-XD Models align green paint marks on water hoses with paint marks on oil cooler, A/T fluid warmer and water pipes.
CAUTION: Green paint mark must face upward at hose clip locations.

Install clamps (3) on the hoses (1) as shown.

CAUTION: Clamp must not interfere with bulge in pipe.

(2)	: Water pipe
(A)	: 3 - 7 mm (0.12 - 0.28 in)

Clamp pawls should be aligned with paint marks on hoses and pipes.
For clamps on at multi-control valve outlet and oil cooler inlet, the clamp pawls should be orientated as shown.
