Component Inspection (ASCD Steering Switch)

CHECK ASCD STEERING SWITCH

Turn ignition switch OFF.
Disconnect combination switch (spiral cable) harness connector M199.

Check resistance between combination switch harness connector terminals under the following conditions.

Combination switch		Condition	Resistance (Ω)
Connector	Terminals	Condition	Resistance (Ω)
M199	15 and 18	MAIN switch: Pressed	Approx. 0
		CANCEL switch: Pressed	Approx. 250
		COAST/SET switch: Pressed	Approx. 660
		ACCELERATE/RESUME switch: Pressed	Approx. 1, 480
		All ASCD steering switches: Released	Approx. 4, 000

Is the inspection result normal?

YES

INSPECTION END

Replace ASCD steering switch. Refer to Removal and Installation .
