DTC Confirmation Procedure

  1. PRECONDITIONING 

    If DTC Confirmation Procedure has been previously conducted, always perform the following procedure before conducting the next test:

    1. Start the engine and let it idle.
    2. Connect CONSULT, select "ENGINE" and perform the "DPF Regeneration" in the "Active Test" menu.
    3. Turn ignition switch OFF.

    GO TO 2 .

  2. PERFORM DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE 
    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Check 1st trip DTC.
    3. Connect CONSULT and check for current "ENGINE" diagnostic trouble codes.
    4. Check for DTC P244D being current on the CONSULT screen.

    Is P244D DTC current?

    YES

    Go to Diagnosis Procedure .

    NO

    Inspection End.
