Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Drain engine coolant. Refer to Changing Engine Coolant .
  2. Remove bypass hose.
  3. Remove bolts from relay box and set aside.
  4. Remove coolant return line from the reservoir tank.
  5. Disconnect harness connector from the coolant level sensor.
  6. Disconnect harness connector from the engine control No. 2 harness. Refer to Harness Layout .
  7. Remove bolts from reservoir tank and remove reservoir tank.
