Removal and Installation: Removal

CAUTION:
- Use of the coolant heater when parked with the front of the vehicle higher than the rear (5 degrees or more) may cause the coolant heater to become damaged and/or inoperative.
- When using the coolant heater (heater is plugged in), ensure vehicle is parked on a level surface or with the front of the vehicle lower than the rear (nose down).
- Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Changing Engine Coolant .
- Disconnect the harness connector (if equipped) from the coolant heater.
- Unscrew the coolant heater from the water inlet connection and remove the coolant heater.
