Removal and Installation: Removal

- Disconnect the battery or batteries. Refer to Battery Disconnect .
- Remove the vibration damper. Refer to Removal and Installation .
- Remove the snap ring (A) that retains the oil thermostat (1) in its location in the front cover and remove the oil thermostat.
