Removal and Installation: Removal

Remove the engine cooling fan. Refer to Removal and Installation .
Rotate the engine clockwise using suitable tool until the timing/alignment pin hole in the damper aligns with the corresponding hole in the front cover.

CAUTION: Not using the Tool (A) to hold the damper can result in damage to the crankshaft index pin.

Use Tool (A), to hold the damper while the pulley bolts are being loosened or tightened.

Remove the bolts (A) and remove the vibration damper (1) and O-ring (2).

CAUTION:
- Do not reuse vibration damper bolts.
- Do not reuse O-ring.
