Inspection After Removal

- Inspect the engine harness connector and the turbocharger compressor bypass solenoid for the following:
- Cracked or broken connector shell
- Missing or damaged connector seals
- Dirt, debris, or moisture in or on the connector pins
- Corroded, bent, broken, pushed back, or expanded pins
- Repair or replace the engine harness connector as needed.
- Inspect the turbocharger compressor bypass solenoid for the following:
- Bent or broken ports at the turbocharger compressor bypass solenoid. Replace the turbocharger compressor bypass solenoid if damage is found.
- Using a suitable tool, measure the resistance across both pins of the turbocharger compressor bypass solenoid coil.
