Removal and Installation: Removal

WARNING: When using compressed air for cleaning, to avoid the risk of personal injury from flying debris and dirt:

Do not exceed 207 kPa (2.111 kg/cm ² , 30 psi).
Wear appropriate eye protection and protective clothing including gloves.

Clean the area around the turbocharger actuator and dry with compressed air.
Loosen the bolt (A) that connects the rotary turbine control valve linkage (3) to the rotary turbine control valve actuator (2).

NOTE:
- It is not necessary to remove the rotary turbine control valve linkage bolt (B) to remove the rotary turbine control valve linkage.
- If the turbine valve side of the rotary turbine control valve linkage is disconnected from the turbine valve shaft, the rotary turbine control valve linkage must be replaced.
Remove bolts (A) from the rotary turbine control valve actuator (1) and remove the rotary turbine control valve actuator.
