Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC PRIORITY 
    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Connect CONSULT and check for "ENGINE" diagnostic trouble codes.
    3. Check for DTC P0606-00 being current on the CONSULT screen.

    Is DTC P0606-00 detected as current?

    YES

    Refer to DTC Index .

    NO

    GO TO 2 .

  2. CHECK DTC PRIORITY 
    1. Turn ignition switch OFF for at least 1 minute.
    2. Turn ignition switch ON for 15 minutes.
    3. Connect CONSULT and check for "ENGINE" diagnostic trouble codes.
    4. Check for DTC U3017-00 being current on the CONSULT screen.

    Is DTC U3017-00 detected as current?

    YES

    Replace ECM. Refer to Removal and Installation .

    NO

    Refer to Intermittent Incident .
