Diagnosis Procedure

- CHECK DTC PRIORITY
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Connect CONSULT and check for "ENGINE" diagnostic trouble codes.
- Check for DTC U1001-00 being current on the CONSULT screen.
Is DTC U1001-00 detected as current?
YES
GO TO 2 .
NO
Refer to Intermittent Incident .
- CHECK DTC PRIORITY
- Turn ignition switch ON.
- Connect CONSULT and check for "ENGINE" diagnostic trouble codes.
- Check for multiple CAN communication DTCs being current on the CONSULT screen.
Are multiple CAN communication DTCs detected as current?
YES
Repair or replace error-detected parts.
NO
