Diagnosis Procedure

  1. CHECK DTC PRIORITY 
    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Connect CONSULT and check for "ENGINE" diagnostic trouble codes.
    3. Check for CAN communication DTCs being current on the CONSULT screen.

    Are CAN communication DTCs detected as current?

    YES

    Refer to DTC Index .

    NO

    GO TO 2 .

  2. CHECK DTC PRIORITY 
    1. Turn ignition switch ON.
    2. Connect CONSULT and check for "ENGINE" diagnostic trouble codes.
    3. Check for DTC U0426-00 being current on the CONSULT screen.

    Is DTC U0426-00 detected as current?

    YES

    An immobilizer anti-theft device issue has been detected. Refer to System Description .

    NO

    Refer to Intermittent Incident .
